Do not try to integrate the quotient as it stands: split it first. Since xx=x3/2, the integrand is 3x3/2 2x1/2. Integrating gives 6x1/2 4x1/2, that is 6x 4x. At x= 4 this is 3  8 =11 and at x= 1 it is 6  4 =10, so the integral is 11 (10)=1.
