What is stored
TMUA Lab keeps a single entry in your browser's local storage, under the key
tmualab.v1, plus one for your theme preference. That entry holds:
- which questions you have been served;
- every answer, with whether it was right and how long it took;
- your completed sittings and their scores;
- your review queue and when each question is next due.
Where it goes
Nowhere. There is no account, no server that receives your answers, no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no third-party embed that could observe you.
The pages make no third-party request of any kind. Everything — including the fonts — is served from this site, so no other company learns that you visited, what you looked at, or what your IP address is. Open your browser's network panel and check: every request goes to one domain.
Because there is no cookie set for tracking and no personal data leaves the device, there is nothing for a consent banner to ask you about.
What that costs you
Local-only storage cuts both ways. Clearing site data, using a private window, or switching browser or device starts you from scratch, and your progress does not follow you. The dashboard has an Export JSON button for exactly this reason, and an import to put it back.
Deleting everything
Open the command palette with ⌘K and run Erase all my local data, or use Erase everything on the dashboard. Both remove the storage entry immediately and irreversibly. Clearing site data in your browser settings has the same effect.
